Ethnographic Museum Hanoi

Located on an area of 3ha, Museum
of Ethnology Vietnam
was opened in late 1997, keeping the artifacts and documents reflecting all
aspects of life, activities, customs and habits of the 54 ethnic groups in
throughout the country. Right from its inception, it has attracted the
attention of many tourists and cultural researchers, ethnographers domestic and international.
Ethnographic Museum Hanoi store 10,000 objects, 15,000 black and
white photos, hundreds of videos, cassettes reflecting all aspects of life,
activities, customs, and practices of 54 people across the country Vietnam .
Exhibits are arranged, logically
arranged, easy to understand and sensuality.
Zone houses a permanent
exhibition in an area of 2,500 m ² (including 2 floors) is divided into 8
sections:
- Introduction
- Introduction ethnic Vietnamese
(Kinh)
- The Tay
ethnic group languages, Thai and Ka dai
- The language ethnic group
Hmong, Dao, Tibetan, Diu , Ngai.
- The ethnic group languages
Mon - Khmer.
- The ethnic group of
Austronesian languages.
- The Cham, Hoa, Khmer.
- Interaction and integration
between nations.
Outdoor pavilion introduces the
architectural style characteristic of the people of Vietnam . There are now on display
in Ede long house, the Tay stilt house, half and half of the ground floor of
the Dao people, the wooden roof of the po-mu Hmong, Vietnamese houses with
tiled roofs , Gia Rai tomb, the Dragon of the Three-Na, home care and home land
of the Ha Nhi people
